Individual Counseling

Individual Counseling

Whatever brought you here — anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, grief, or a sense that something needs to change — you've taken a courageous first step. Individual counseling at Brave Beginnings is a personal, collaborative process where Robert works alongside you to understand your story, identify patterns holding you back, and equip you with practical tools for lasting change.

Robert specializes in helping individuals navigate trauma, sex and pornography addiction, negative relationship cycles, identity and purpose, and life transitions — drawing from EMDR, IFS, SEP, CBT, and DBT to meet you exactly where you are.

Couples Therapy

Couples Therapy

Every relationship moves through seasons — times of deep connection and times of painful distance. Couples therapy at Brave Beginnings gives both partners a fair, safe space to be truly heard and to build the patterns of connection and intimacy their relationship was meant to have.

Robert draws from Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), the Gottman Method, and ERCEM to help couples heal and grow. He is also a certified Prepare & Enrich Facilitator for couples preparing for marriage.

Therapy Intensives

Intensives

Traditional therapy meets for 50 minutes once a week — and for many, that's not enough. An intensive is a longer, concentrated block of therapeutic time — typically a half day, full day, multi-day, or a series of focused extended sessions — designed to help you go further, faster.

Available for both individuals and couples, Intensives are built around a customized agenda drawn from proven frameworks. Many clients find that a single intensive produces breakthroughs that would have taken months of weekly sessions to reach.

Group Therapy

Groups

There is profound healing in shared experience. Our group therapy sessions bring together individuals walking similar paths, creating a community of connection, support, and growth that extends well beyond the therapy room.

Led by an experienced therapist, our groups offer a structured, safe space to develop skills, gain insight from others, and realize you are not alone in your journey. Groups are available for individuals seeking community-based support.
